Topic: Create artistic pieces, to share and maintain as mementos

“Thursday’s, IMUG class will answer the question of what applications are available for your digital pictures (.jpg, jpeg, png, gif, tiff, bmp, etc) and
how you can use them to create artistic pieces, to share and maintain as mementos.   We will be working with two different software
programs that will allow you to upload your digital pictures into various templates chosen by you, add music and create a
finished product you will be proud to offer as gifts, with you as the artist !

Your finished product can then be saved to your hard drive, emailed to family and friends, burned to a CD, added to your website,
FB account or any video sharing sites, etc.  One of the programs we will be using has an upgraded product to create time-unlimited
videos and the option to remove the company branding.

In conclusion,  you will be able to create videos for all of your digital pictures (your timepieces) that have been idly sitting in folders
on your computers, occupying space with free software available for download.

Warning ! ! ! !   Making these videos can be addictive.  If you see day turn into night and night
turn back into day and you are still sitting at your computer,  you’ve been bitten ! ! !   BUT,  it’s a great BYTE ! ! ! ! ! ! !”

Lori Green

Speaker Bio:

Lori Green has been in the technology world since the mid 1970's. Having studied Basic and Cobol computer programming in the 70's, web design in the 90's and currently  is using HTML and Word Press to design websites.

·  For the past 3 years, she has been shooting video, weekly, at a local radio station, editing the footage, using transitions and templates to create a final product which is then streamed to the website she designed and created, including graphics.

 ·  Currently, she is responsible for all the video, photography and  graphic work at her local church and also serves as their webmaster.

·  She is also busy building her business doing "remote streaming video" being offered to churches and facilities where people have events, i.e.: weddings, births, graduations, bas mitzvah or (bat), reunions, parties, etc and would like to have them streamed so guests that cannot attend, can still view the event live (as it is happening).

·  Lori is offering this class tonight, because as she puts it, "people have their pictures stored in folders all over their computers or up on photo sharing sites.  This will give them a way to put a creative flair on their photographic talents and create beautiful one- of-a-kind videos, set to music that they can share, give away or use as gifts and keep copies as a memento of a piece of their life."

·  Passionate about video, audio, photography,  graphics and its endless possibilities, Lori loves helping people create permanent life pieces out of our hobbies.

·  If you have an event coming up, that you would like streamed live, she can be reached at (727) 365 - 1860 or by email:  lori@streameup.com .
